Licensing:

Only Water Ski with established business operators as we are one who are insured by a state licensed agency. Many unlicensed operators often require cash-only sales.

Established How Long:

Vilamoura Watersports Centre has been proudly operating from Vilamoura Marina and has 30 years experience.

Boat Captain Qualifications & Boat Inspection:

All our captains are licensed by the local Government Bodies. Our Support and school boats are fully licensed and insured and maintain the highest levels of occupational, health and safety standards.

Equipment Inspection:

We supply all EU approved equipment that is specially designed for water skiing and all of our equipment is checked and inspected daily. We always issue our clients with a European standard life jacket.

Safety Briefings:

At Vilamoura Watersports Centre we make sure our boat captain/Instructor conducts a safety briefing before your trip. You will learn what to expect on your trip. It is also important that you and the captain have clear hand signals to communicate. Should you fall or drop the rope whilst doing the activity simply stick the board out of the sea so the instructor and any other boats can clearly see you. Never wrap any part of the tow rope around your body.

Age & Weight Restrictions:

We do not have age restrictions on the Water sports activities as we have been giving lessons to clients from 3 years old to 93 years old. Young children under a certain age will need to be accompanied by an adult.
